2. Requirements <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Duration of Study<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff65 1 to 4 years, students may apply for two years of suspension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Credits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff65 For the 2025 program, students are required to obtain a minimum of 24 credits<\/mark><\/em><\/strong> and must complete the course titled “Thesis”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Course Selection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff65 Each semester, you can take a maximum of 12 credits<\/mark><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff65 A maximum of<\/strong> 4 credits<\/strong> from courses taken in this institute’s master’s and doctoral programs or other departments’ (limited to master’s, in-service master’s, doctoral programs) courses can be recognized as graduation credits. Each semester, students are limited to taking one course from other departments or different academic system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualification to Graduate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A. Qualification Exam<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff65 Students should finish 18 credits<\/strong> in total (current semester credits & transference are not included) before attending the qualification exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff65 The testing fields are “International Relations”<\/strong> and “Strategic Studies”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff65 Students may retake the qualification exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B. Thesis Proposal Oral Defense and Thesis Oral Defense<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff65 The thesis proposal should be published public & being approved by 3 committee members, after you passed the proposal then you may proceed to thesis oral defense next semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff65 Semester during the oral defense, the credits should be limited within 1 course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
