2. Seven Documents Required<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamkang University Graduate Degree Examination Application Form, Thesis Oral Defense Committee Recommendation Form, Similarity Report, Statement for Application for Master’s (Doctoral) Thesis Examination, Survey Form\/Department for Awarding Degrees in Chinese, Seminar Participation records and Attached Certificate of Completion from Taiwan Academic Ethics Education Resource Center<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before November 14th, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reminder:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1)Please submit to the GIIASS office after your advisor signs the form <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2)Completion required for thesis defense: a. Pass the Qualification Exam \/ b. Oral defense of thesis proposal \/ c. Upon completion of the required credits, students who still lack credits may enroll in only one course in the current semester.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Initial draft of the thesis (Submission method for the initial draft will be notified separately).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remarks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Please apply in accordance with the provisions of\uff1a\u2019\u2019TKU Regulations on the Examination Process for Graduate Degrees<\/a>\u2019\u2019 and \u2018\u2019some details about the oral defense\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Present one paper at domestic (or international) academic conferences or academic journals \u2014 If you have not published any papers, please make sure to participate in the department’s \u201cGraduate Thesis Public Presentation Event\u201d \uff082025\/12\/19\uff09.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Oral defense time will be arranged by GIIASS office, and please submit all documents to office in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. After submitting your application, if for various reasons you are unable to attend the oral defense, please notify the office immediately so that the withdrawal process can be initiated for you. Otherwise, your thesis grade will be calculated as zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. For the form of oral defense, please consult your advisor and submit the required documents to the oral committee (no later than 2 weeks before the oral examination date).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. From 2026\/1\/5<\/strong>\uff5e<\/strong>2026\/1\/11<\/strong> ,the formal thesis defense sessions are scheduled. If you wish to reschedule your defense due to career planning, please contact us promptly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. The Procedure for the Originality Check of Graduate Theses at Our University<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please follow the regulations stipulated in Article 5 and Article 7 of the “Tamkang University Regulations for Graduate Degree Examinations.”<\/strong> Submit the three-stage thesis similarity comparison reports<\/strong> in both printed form<\/strong> (thesis cover page + overall similarity report page with signatures from both the graduate student and the thesis advisor) and complete electronic files<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Before the student applies for the degree examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) When the thesis examination committee submits the student’s degree <\/p>\n\n\n\n

examination result form, they must review and confirm the originality report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) When the student submits the printed version of the thesis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
