2. Requirements
Duration of Study
・ 1 to 4 years, students may apply for two years of suspension.
Credits
・ For the 2025 program, students are required to obtain a minimum of 24 credits and must complete the course titled “Thesis”.
Course Selection
・ Each semester, you can take a maximum of 12 credits.
・ A maximum of 4 credits from courses taken in this institute’s master’s and doctoral programs or other departments’ (limited to master’s, in-service master’s, doctoral programs) courses can be recognized as graduation credits. Each semester, students are limited to taking one course from other departments or different academic system.
Qualification to Graduate
A. Qualification Exam
・ Students should finish 18 credits in total (current semester credits & transference are not included) before attending the qualification exam.
・ The testing fields are “International Relations” and “Strategic Studies”
・ Students may retake the qualification exam.
B. Thesis Proposal Oral Defense and Thesis Oral Defense
・ The thesis proposal should be published public & being approved by 3 committee members, after you passed the proposal then you may proceed to thesis oral defense next semester.
・ Semester during the oral defense, the credits should be limited within 1 course.
