Activity Recap – Analysis of Current Military Conflicts in Asia and The Middle-East

・ It is our honor today to welcome retired lieutenant general of R.O.C., Mr. 田在勱, to deliver his speech on “Analysis of Current Military Conflicts in Asia and The Middle-East”

・ In the speech, Lt. Gen. 田 focused on recent international conflicts such as the India–Pakistan conflict in May, the missle attack from Israel to Palestine in June, and the “Operation Midnight Hammer” by the U.S.

・ Lt. Gen. 田 pointed out that in the India-Pakistan conflict, although India has more advanced weapons and equipments, it still lacks intergration across systems and platforms. In comparison, the advantage of high-degree intergration can be seen in the Israle’s attack, reflecting the edge of combining intelligence and technology

・ In the missile strike from Israel to Palestine, Israel utilized its local network of intelligence and demonstrated its importance to effective attack targets.

・ As for the “Operation Midnight Hammer” by the U.S., a global operation intergrating military systems and branches, exhibit how C4ISR (Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) capabilities can provide greater strength beyond simple addition of military power.
